Kano State Commissioner of Police, CP Salman Dogo Garba on Wednesday received the Vice Chancellor (VC) of Bayero University, Prof. Sagir Adamu Abbas and his team at the Bompai Police Headquarters.
In a statement released by SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, the Public Relations Officer of Kano Police Command, Prof. Abbas commended the security agency for its “exemplary support” and praised CP Garba for his effective management of the recent nationwide protest.
He assured the Command of the University’s continued cooperation and promised to offer assistance whenever the need arises.
Kano Police Spokesperson added: “CP Dogo expressed his delight at the visit and reaffirmed his commitment to fostering a strong and cordial relationship between the Police Command and the University.
“He appreciated the University’s support and cooperation, and the visit concluded with a mutual pledge to continue working together.
“The occasion also featured an exchange of souvenirs, symbolizing the strengthened friendship and cooperation between the two institutions.”
